Customer Review: Stopped working after 14 months
Disappointingly, this DVD player stopped working after 14 months.

In fact, this was the first of two multi-region DVD players (different brands) from VCT, that I ordered (at different times) that stopped working before they should have.

Is it that the DVD players were just too cheap to last?

Is it VCT’s region-free moding that causes the problem?
