Customer Review: Like other negative reviewers, mine broke within a year
I bought this one to replace a Cyberhome 7″ portable. Unlike the Cyberhome, which I used like crazy, I’ve maybe seen a total of 3-4 movies on this thing in a year’s time. I’m working from home today & decided to pop in a movie…battery will not charge and unit will NOT work unless plugged into the wall. My warranty runs out the end of the month & Philips offered me “same or comparable” model…I pray I don’t have the same problem as some of the other reviewers. Other than that, the unit is great, picture is clear, sound is good.

Customer Review: Quirky, flimsy, great concept, poor execution
(I use an iPod Touch) This device is a great idea but it really seems like it was rushed to market. The materials are light plastic which gives it a very cheap feel. It is light weight though. The controls are not as integrated as you would expect. For example, you have to open the iPod bay to turn on movies and route the video to the large screen. Something that you half-expect to be able to do automatically. The buttons on the device don’t seem to consistently control the iPod at all, so again you have to open the iPod bay to change movies etc. The screen is large and seems o.k. although the resolution isn’t super-high quality. Speakers seem o.k. The lack of an integrated stand is just plain silly though. I have a Logitech mm50 ipod speaker docking station with exactly the integrated stands that this thing needs. Maybe they really just added the iPod docking station as an afterthought which would make sense. As a consumer, though, you see the iPod dock and think “oh, cool, they made something for the iPod to interface with seamlessly”. Nope.

Customer Review: Great DVD player, Even better Price!
The only thing that could make this DVD player better would be for it to be able to come in Blue-Ray compatible.
Other than that minute detail, this DVD player is the best thing for me, since I constantly engage in watching foreign films, where my XBOX 360 and my other portable DVD player could not play DVD from Areas 3, 4 and various others.

Customer Review: it does it all!
It’s a DVD player that does it all. All-regions, multi-formats. And it’s sleek and stylish. The only area that can use some improvement is the system could be more responsive. The tray open/close has a little lag.
