The Audiovox D2017 was just what we were looking for. This player looks and sounds great, would recommend this to anyone. The only thing we don’t like about it is it take a long time to bring up pictures when in insert the SD.

I have this product since January 2008. Fabulous picture and the HQV chip works wonders. However, I was a little disappointed with the audio performance until now. Just tried it with National Treasure II (Dolby True HD) and was blown away. They obviously have fixed everything. 5 stars now.

Customer Review: My kids love it.
I purchased 2 of the Polaroid PDM-2727 last year. One for my family and the other as a gift. The color and clarity of the 7″ screen is superb. Sound quality too is very good. It keeps the kids entertained during long trips in the car. My only quams about this DVD player is that the provided cables are too short to run under the carpet, so you have to run the cables across the headrests, and there are too many buttons on the unit, which makes it difficult to push the correct button while driving. My kids are careful when they put DVDs in and out of the player, but after 6 months of almost daily use, one of the plastic hinges on the door that houses the DVD/CD broke. Short of replacing the door, there’s no way to replace the hinge and without this door, the DVD won’t play. Shortly after that, the player had difficulty recognizing a DVD was in the unit, and wouldn’t play. It eventually stopped working altogether. I believe the ribbon cable is damaged. Anyway, it was great while it lasted and I’m now looking for either a replacement for the damaged master unit, or a new player set although I don’t need the slave DVD. The slave unit serves solely as a second monitor,so it’s not subject to the same wear and tear as the master which receives the DVD/CD.

I got this to go with my 61″ Samsung DLP and it looks great. Have not compared side-by-side with Blu-Ray but regular DVDs seem to be converted to hi def.

Customer Review: Worth the money
I purchased the Mogo for a 15 hour road trip we took with our 2 and 6 year old kids. This product worked very well. It installs and uninstalls in a cinch. I feel it was definitely worth the money. The only issues we had was that it did wiggle a little with the car movement, but the kids didn’t seem to mind. The other issue we had is that it did block the lower 1/3 of our rearview, but it did not bother us as we drove. We just used our side mirrors a bit more. Overall we were very satisfied with this purchase and would recommed it.

I bought this one to replace a Cyberhome 7″ portable. Unlike the Cyberhome, which I used like crazy, I’ve maybe seen a total of 3-4 movies on this thing in a year’s time. I’m working from home today & decided to pop in a movie…battery will not charge and unit will NOT work unless plugged into the wall. My warranty runs out the end of the month & Philips offered me “same or comparable” model…I pray I don’t have the same problem as some of the other reviewers. Other than that, the unit is great, picture is clear, sound is good.

I purchased this as a used item. I saved money which was good. The product works fairly well. The screen is hard to view. The product did not come with either the remote control or the dc power cord. I asked the distributer to send me those items, but so far no response.
